 Осенью 2006 году наконец-то вышел после двухлетнего перерыва третий альбом финских глэм-рокеров Negative, который, на мой взгляд, является лучшим в творчестве группы. Музыка стала намного тяжелее, а вокал часто срывается на крик, "как будто вокалиста гладят раскаленным утюгом"(с). С первого прослушивания альбом меня не слишком впечатлил, так как песни имеют не очень хорошо запоминающиеся мелодии (ну и, честно сказать, на момент его выхода он был для меня слегка тяжеловат). Но уже во время второго прослушивания я скакала по комнате и орала вместе с фронтменом "not any more, not any more". На счет минусов. На мой взгляд, альбом имеет только один крупный минус - песню "Reflexion" с какой-то смазанной и совсем не запоминающейся мелодией. Распознавать этот шедевр по первым звукам я научилась только через месяц, а после и совсем удалила из плейера. Теперь плюсы. К ним можно также отнести оформление альбома в цирковой тематике, вышло довольно интересно. Непосредственно о самих композициях. Хочется отметить быструю и жесткую "Glory Of The Shame", под которую непроизвольно начинаешь дергать всеми частями тела; "Sinners' Night/Misty Morning", заводную и очень рок-н-ролльную; "One Last Shot" (здесь не могу ничего сказать, любовь с первого звука). Отдельного внимания заслуживают "Embracing Past" и невероятно красивая "A Song For The Brocken Hearted". Напоследок хочется отметить на некоторых композициях наличие женского бэк-вокала, чего раньше не наблюдалось, великолепные, просто изумительные гитары, от звука которых хочется просто растечься лужей, потрясающий вокал, а также уже не какие-то синтетические, как на предыдущем альбоме, а "живые" клавишные. |
