Итак, в далеком 1982 году на свет появляется первая официальная работа "Милосердной судьбы". На четырехпесенном ЕР длительностью около 22 минут датчане представили слушателям энергичный, злобный, но, в то же время, мелодичный heavy metal. Музыканты группы на этой пластинке играют еще не столь технично, как на альбомах 1983-го, и тем более, 1984-го годов. Сам же Кинг Даймонд еще почти не использует спецэффектов, хоров, наложений.
Однако уже на этом ЕР присутствует та самая зловещая (мистическая ,если кому угодно), зачаровывающая атмосфера, свойственная творениям M.F.
Заметим, что даже несмотря на невысокое качество записи - альбом записали всего за два дня (!), - на группу после выхода "Nuns Have No Fun" обратила внимание пресса, а в США журнал "Metal Mania" даже дал пластинке титул "EP года".
Конечно, рассмешить может наивная лирика о живых мертвецах и Сатане - но это, если специально искать минусы. Тем более, что есть в таких простых, без изысков текстах какая-то изюминка, как, например, в старых фильмах ужасов.
Выделить какой-то трек сложно - все они выдержаны в едином духе, поэтому рекомендуется ЕР слушать полностью. |
