Это тяжелейший, полнооборотный и техничный дэт-металл в лучших традициях стиля. Особенно замечателен последний трэк - эдакая дэт-баллада на 16 минут с периодическими кратковременными выбросами энергии в виде бласт-битов. Определённо, один из лучших релизов 98-го, который и так изобиловал шедеврами дэт-металла! |

Группа Incantation за всё время своего существования перенесла множество различных ударов судьбы. Это и бесконечные перемены в составе, и жёсткая в то время конкуренция с братьями по цеху в лице Suffocation, Immolation и им подобных. Но "колдовская" музыка становилась от этого только злее и брутальнее. Во время записи "Diabolical Conquest" с группой происходили одни из самых неприятных ситуаций, видимо, поэтому этот альбом звучит настолько тяжело и буквально источает людскую ненависть. Сама музыка Incantation представляет собой техничный, тяжёленный брутал-дэт, сопровождаемый невероятно утробным гроулом. В наличии у них стандартные фишки, свойственные бруталу, только подают они их в своей собственной манере. Композиции не блещут особой оригинальностью, но и не являются прямолинейной бласт-битовой мясорубкой. По крайней мере, материал совсем не напрягает, и всё сыграно не так уж однообразно, как кажется на первый взгляд.
Я бы даже сказал, что наличие какой-то дьявольской атмосферы здесь однозначно имеется.
И хотя довольно трудно выбирать из материала, где каждая песня обладает не примитивной, но практически идентичной друг другу структурой, я всё же выделил для себя пару-тройку боевиков. Это "Disciples of Blasphemous Reprisal", "Unto Infinite Twilight - Majesty of Infernal" и пронзительный инструментал "Unheavenly Skies".
Итог: "Diabolical Conquest" - концентрация злобы и ненависти от Incantation. Беспощадный брутал-дэтовый альбом. |
