Formed in late 2010 by frontman, Jay R of JackViper fame, the line-up was quickly filled by Rob Silver(The Soho roses) on lead, Deangersmith(Mouthful of Flies) on rhythm, Robi Smith(Band 'o' Gypsies) on bass and Ralph Margo(Misericord) on drums. Members of Eightball Voodoo live in Australia, Canada, England and South Africa. After leaving JackViper, who were one of the major players in the U.K sleaze rock revival, Jay R wanted to carry on the legacy by forming a sleaze rock band infused with metal and punk influences to carry on the new breed of sleaze he was instrumental in starting. Recruiting the best dealers of rock 'n roll has culminated in a band with it's roots in the sleaze scene of the late eighties with a modern heavy style.
