In the 90s, Kerzner played keyboards with Kevin Gilbert and Nick D'Virgilio in the bands Thud and Giraffe. He also toured on Peter Gabriel's WOMAD festival playing keyboards with Shankar. In 1996 Kerzner founded the sound development company Sonic Reality which has provided sampled sounds for major keyboard manufacturers and software companies for decades fueling the sounds for hits across every genre of music.

Over the years as a keyboardist, sound designer and/or producer he has worked with a variety of top artists including Keith Emerson, Alan Parsons, Jon Anderson, Simon Phillips, Steve Rothery, Steven Wilson, Steve Hackett, Phil Collins, Bono, Joe Lynn Turner, Billy Sherwood and many more. In 2013, he co-wrote and co-produced Sound of Contact's acclaimed "Dimensionaut" album and in 2014 he released his debut solo album "New World".

After releasing his second studio solo album "Static" in 2017, and following an All Star "Dave Kerzner and Friends" event on Cruise To The Edge in 2018, Kerzner decided to put together an all star progressive rock ensemble cast that could realize his vision for creating more keyboard-driven "Sci Fi Space Rock" concept albums like had done in the past. He called upon top singers and musicians from some of his favorite bands to collaborate on "In Continuum" including fellow Sound of Contact multi-instrumentalist Matt Dorsey, former Sound of Contact touring guitarists Randy McStine (The Fringe) and John Wesley (Porcupine Tree), vocalist Gabriel Agudo (Steve Rothery Band, Bad Dreams), vocalist Jon Davison (Yes), drummers Nick D'Virgilio (Big Big Train) and Derek Cintron (Dave Kerzner Band), multi-instrumentalist Fernando Perdomo (Dave Kerzner Band) and special guests like Steve Rothery (Marillion) and more!
